Dahua day/night switch utility - DahuaSunriseSunset

That did the trick - thanks! I originally set the profile to "Day/Night". I guess we'll see in the morning how well the script behaves with Full Time (if it automatically adjusts it to Day).

Dahua day/night switch utility - DahuaSunriseSunset

Tried using Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and IE. Greyed out for all of them.

Dahua day/night switch utility - DahuaSunriseSunset

Unfortunately, the "Mode" choices in Day & Night are greyed out when the Night profile is enabled:

Dahua day/night switch utility - DahuaSunriseSunset

This is a really cool command - thanks for posting about the BI integration. I do have a question / problem. I currently have several Loryta IPC-T5442TM-AS cameras. The BI "PTZ Presets" are working great - in that they switch between Day and Night like a charm. My problem is that the...

How can I get better quality from my Dahua (Loryta) IPC-T5442TM-AS (moving objects)

I am using the sub stream 1 for my cameras: Maybe I'm not doing it right? I'm not sure why it says force to 840 x 480 (anamorphic). This has always been checked - is that a problem?

How can I get better quality from my Dahua (Loryta) IPC-T5442TM-AS (moving objects)

Thanks for the advice as well. I assume that you have different settings for both Day and Night and automatically switch between them (via Profiles)?

How can I get better quality from my Dahua (Loryta) IPC-T5442TM-AS (moving objects)

Thanks for the quick response. I am using one of my cameras for testing. I changed the encode to H264 and notice that my BI is NOT happy about this change. When I try to view the feed in BI, the picture immediately turns grey and flickers about (see screenshot). Changing the encode back to...

How can I get better quality from my Dahua (Loryta) IPC-T5442TM-AS (moving objects)

I have multiple Loryta IPC-T5442TM-AS cameras (3.6mm) around the exterior of my property. I love the low-light color resolution and they display nice clear video all around my property (day or night). My only issue is that I get really bad streaking/tearing when cars drive by. It's to the...

Motion Detected - But Recording NOT Triggered?

Thank you - will do! Also - is it possible that my time stamp is causing the trigger? I noticed a few times that it would put a yellow box around the furthest right changing digit...

Motion Detected - But Recording NOT Triggered?

Is this what you're looking for? 30 FPS with a keyframe of 15?

Motion Detected - But Recording NOT Triggered?

Thanks - I experimented with unchecking this box and it's definitely triggering A LOT more now. I suspect my sensitivity is cranked up way too high, because it's triggering with no visible motion at all. Do I now need to back up my Object Size and Contrast? If so, is there a recommended value?

Motion Detected - But Recording NOT Triggered?

I could use some assistance with my Blue Iris config. One of my outdoor cameras will regularly indicate motion (yellow boxes), but won't actually trigger to record anything. If something large moves (like a car), then it will put an orange box around the object and it will trigger to record...

Looking for a Roof Mounted Camera(s) for Watching the Weather / Sky

I live in KS - on the top of a hill - with lots of surrounding land. I enjoy watching storms roll in and different parts of my property can be raining while the other side is sunny. I was thinking of mounting a camera on the top of my roof that I can use the view the weather in various...

    Help with Reolink RTSP Substream

I have 10 Reolink RLC-410 cameras. I know that they don't have the best reputation for IP cameras, but they were what my builder included in their "technology package" and it's what I have wired and configured so far. I've recently learned about the benefits of "substream" RTSP for keeping CPU...

Trouble with Reolink RLC-410W Wireless Cam and Blue Iris 5

All, Before we start - I know, I know - Reolinks are garbage. Previous owner left all of his cameras and I'm in no rush to buy new ones just yet. That said, I have several hard-wired Reolink RLC-410 cameras with Blue Iris 5 and I have been very happy with the results. I realize that they...

Blue Iris Motion Detection Not Working Well

I am using Blue Iris v5.07.3 x64 with a Reolink RLC-410-5MP camera. I have 7 total cameras (all using the same Reolink), but am having trouble with one particular outdoor camera. My NVR is a i7-6700 with 16GB of RAM (it never goes about 40% CPU usage). I am having a hard time getting my...
