Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

So is that the cloud service not receiving a heartbeat from the doorbell and freaking out? If so it seems like that would happen every time you lost power to the doorbell. I like the idea of getting a notification that it lost connection (ie if somebody ripped it off the wall or something) but...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Or maybe with an external IR illuminator if you didn't want visible light on the porch (assuming you can disable the onboard IR LEDs.)

Where you at @SuruGuru? Interested to know if your unit has the same IR backfeed issues

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Have you tried out the two way comms yet? Not my primary reason for buying but just wondering - can you have a clear conversation with somebody? Is the doorbell microphone and speaker adequate? Is it laggy/delayed?

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Samsung - responded in like two hours on Sat. Still very little info out on it but you can find a little more by searching for Wisenet or Hanwha Techwin. Looks like Sams has it on their website as part of a bundle with other Samsung cameras. Some YouTube videos on features and installation...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Wrong thread for this I know, but thought I'd share this response from Samsung about their new doorbell cam. Not ONVIF, but sounds like pulling the RTSP stream to Blue Iris would be doable. I might try it once it's available on Amazon- I've never bought from HSN before. At least they were able...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

@VorlonFrog excellent job digging into the firmware and deducing the RTSP path despite LTS. The main stream looks good. Good enough at least for what this is. I'm not crazy about the fisheye either but the 180deg view seems to capture your patio about perfectly. My doorbell is facing...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

While we wait... Anybody seen this Samsung/Wisenet D1 doorbell camera that was just released? Touts several smart features like facial recognition and abnormal sound alerts like glass breaking. Avail on HSN of all places but supposed to hit amazon and Sams club in October. No idea if onvif...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

@VorlonFrog and @SuruGuru are the ones who've actually bought the camera. I'm waiting on their thoughts before buying. Sorry if my post was confusing

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

hopefully that's an early adopter price. Still, I'm glad he got one this quick and looking forward to the review. I have a gut feeling the camera will be good but the app performance will be lackluster for some reason. Not sure why - I hope I'm wrong. My primary interest is blue iris...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Ok, so they are shipping out and should be hitting more and more resellers in the coming weeks. Some light at the end of the tunnel. Wonder what this means for the availability of the Hikvision unit.

So the reseller had some in stock? You end up paying the $221 shown on your link above or something different?

Android Streamer boxes to view CCTV Android Apps

@nayr would you still recommend this solution over one of the newer android tv boxes? They have come up in power recently it seems. I saw your earlier thread about using the NVDIA Shield but wanted to do multiple TVs in the house so that one would add up quick. I've gone back and forth...

    Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z)

Just a comparison shot between the 5231 and my previous Foscam Fi9805W over the driveway. Snapshots taken from recorded Blue Iris footage so probably not the highest quality method of taking stills. The Dahua settings haven't been tweaked at all yet, just finally got it installed and was very...

    Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z)

Played around a bit more with Live Cams Pro and found the Dahua does show up on the auto scan but pops up with an "Amcrest Profile 1" profile. I have some Amcrest cams so must have missed it the first go round. Works just fine, except for zoom control.

    Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z)

Received my two cams today, they work great bench testing! Nice solid metal build quality, they make my Foscam units feel like toys. Does anyone know the connection profile/scheme for viewing these cams in Live Cams Pro on iOS? They do not show up when performing an auto scan and none of the...
