We are about three months from moving into our new home. Our home is about 400 ft from the road. What camera(s) would you recommend to catch vehicles coming into our driveway?
Thank you, everyone!
If I were to enable Anti-flicker, which one of these shutter settings below would be the closest to my current shutter speed of 0-4.5ms? My current shutter speed of 0-4.5ms works great in this area to catch faster-moving forklifts.
Please see the video. Pay attention to the ground, it looks like a steady wave of light movement. There is nothing above moving, just an LED light.
I have also included the camera settings. Any idea how to fix this?
Sorry, two more quick questions:
1. Do I need to take any action regarding the ONVIF/camera events?
2. In the Sub Stream Guide, it instructs you to reconfigure motion detection. But within the camera, I can't find the "object travels" settings.
Good morning!
I now have 35 cameras active with BI. To help with CPU usage, I attempted to set up a sub stream with one of the cameras. My settings are listed below; please let me know if I've missed anything or if any additional setup is required. The only thing I did at this time was add the...
We are in the dry-in phase of our new home.
I have already ran flexible ENT tubing to each camera location within the exterior wall.
For the interior, if we wanted a few in-wall tablets (tablets with an ethernet port) thoughout the home to view what's happening and to have them pop up BI...
I was able to access UI3 on our MacBook just this morning. Then I updated to Sequioa 15.2, restarted the MacBook, and now I can't connect to UI3 (see screenshot).
The other computers (two of them) and my mobile can still access UI3 with no problems. Does anyone have any idea what could have...
Thank you for the reply, and yes I have been fighting with that darn ball and socket all day... Approximately how far were you able to rotate it one way or another?
When mounting the camera on a wall as the screenshot below, what is the trick to rotate the camera to the right or left if needed without messing up the up or down of the view?
After some more reading, here are some changes I made:
Within Trigger, increased BREAK time to 60
and
Within "Motion sensor," dropped Min. duration from 1 to .5
We do not want to record non-stop to have more storage and go further back in time. So, the cameras are set up to record when triggered. To help ensure nothing is missed between triggers, what trigger settings would you recommend to help ensure nothing is missed, and triggers record longer? Some...
Thank you for this, @TonyR!
Quick question to see if it matters.... I have a dual NIC server. Cameras are separated on 192.168.55.XX. So, should I have the radio's static IPs on the same separated network as the cameras (192.168.55.XX)?
Happy Friday, everyone!
I have two NanoStation AC locos I'm trying to configure as this guide: https://help.ui.com/hc/en-us/articles/205142890-airMAX-Guide-to-Configure-a-Point-to-Point-Link-Layer-2-Transparent-Bridge
I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, but what I see within the NanoStation...
Sorry if I missed this, but is there any way to have this camera automatically switch between day and night custom profiles? Without the schedule... Like the T5IR-ZE-S3 can do.
Just in case anyone else runs into this problem with a tp-link router, here is the fix: No Traffic After OpenVPN Is Connected - Android OpenVPN Connect 3.4.0 Update - Business Community
It's now working correctly!
Is anyone having any issues with OpenVPN Connect on an Android?
Off my network, I'm able to use the BI app with the OpenVPN Connect App on an iPhone.
But it does not work with my Pixel 8 — the OpenVPN connects, but then the phone has no internet access. The BI app on the Pixel 8 works fine on...
The cameras is a T544IR-ZE-S3. This location is in a warehouse with the only light coming from the time clock.
Still being somewhat new to IP cams, I guess my other question would be is how do you know when your captures are good enough? Lol... Or is this something you will always be...
Another quick question: to give better examples I wanted to post screenshots.
But I do not want to post the wrong things publicly. What is safe, and what is not safe to post publicly in terms of IPs, etc.?
Hello, again. I still have not figured this out and set up an OpenVPN for this router yet.
Speaking with our contractual IT person, and I'm not sure if this is correct being he really does not deal with this, but he said our first problem with setting up an OpenVPN on this router is that our...
