Reolink is garbage. Stay away. And yes, if you expect compatibility, you need to stay with the same brand of NVR and Cameras.

You need to study this: Cliff Notes. Your sample pic shows the failings of a Reolink garbage, look at the guys face, it's blurred and it's not even completely dark.

Blue iris is the most feature rich software at its price point. You have not explained what issue you had with the reolink NVR and how you expected blue iris to fix it. You dont explain what you are looking for in an NVR or how much you are willing to spend so no one can help you.
