Sorry, that was badly written - I should have said its a camera setting - so you need to go to the cameras configuration webpage (usually just the ip address of the camera). It's not a client side software thing.

I did wonder about the port forwarding aspect. the problem is the web GUI is flakey, and tends to crash the camera (as does accessing the camera in any way other than via the shoddy desktop app).

Okay. I appear to have sorted it. For the record if anyone else has this problem, there's a setting on the configuration page (via browser), under the video/audio heading, where you need to change the Video type from "Video" to "Video & Audio". Save the settings, and voila! you now have audio!

Like a few of the others above, I found my mini 0803 didn't like Sandisc cards, but works faultlessly with Kingston cards. Makes me wonder if the Sandisc ones are dodgy, as counterfeit SD cards seems to be big business at the moment

Yep, it's the NPAPI thing that chrome is saying is depreciated- is this just chrome being awkward? Over the years I've found Chrome better than Firefox for compatibility, I'd hate to think I have to reverse that thinking.
