Seems that some poe+ switches are not giving this camera enough power, and the problem is worse on long cable runs. So we have been using a dedicated poe+ injector and good quality cable (ubiquiti cable) and we are having much more luck with this camera.

Is there an easy way to merge clips when exporting? Thanks.

Does anyone one know the correct junction-box that works with this camera. I have seen the wall mount, but am interested in a junction box for ceiling mount. Thanks very much.

Have you tried reducing the resolution of the secondary stream?

Sorry, maybe it worked for me because I am in the trial period. So I suspect Nayr is correct about the commercial licence.

It worked for me. I chose Hikvision camera. My video stream looks like: rtsp://admin:admin@192.168.0.225/h264/ch1/sub/ Hope this helps.

I finally found the setting to keep the IR on always, and that seems to have cleared up the fuzziness that was occurring when the camera switched to day mode. I guess the only disadvantage is the camera stays in black and white, but for plate capture it is fine. Thanks again for all the info...

Thanks for your help on the License plate camera. It is much better. The photo shows how we get around the extension cord issue. There are two hikvision cameras mounted to back of panel and that is a nano station antenna to send video back to blue iris server.

I am having good success with the V2 for license plate capture, except for about 30 to 45 minutes after the IR's turn off in the morning, then it becomes good again once it gets lighter outside. Is there a way to keep IR's on, or some other setting I'm missing to avoid that 30 to 45 minutes...
