    Should I have kept Win7 Ver4 ?

I agree. Windows 10 at idle shouldn't be 20%. My main PC is Windows 10 Pro and it sits idle at 2%. The BI machine must have a problem with 10. I re-installed 10 last week and same issue. I did a fresh install of Win7 Pro today and it idles perfect. As of this post I don't have BI installed...

    Should I have kept Win7 Ver4 ?

This is why I'm confused. I exported BI settings from 4 and imported into a full new install of 5. I consider that the exact same BI settings. Plus it's not BI that's using CPU, it's Windows system and a couple other processes. Not running demo mode, it's registered. Did a full clean install...

    Should I have kept Win7 Ver4 ?

My dedicated PC is an i7-4770, 16GB, 4TB purple, old HP work station. I had WIn7 Pro and Version 4 installed and it ran less than 20% CPU, beautiful. I was worried about Win7 not being supported with Ver5 (wanted Ver5) and upgraded. Bought a 120GB SSD, installed Win10 Pro, upgraded to Ver5...

    Time lapse concrete floor install

http://www.southeastlock.com/video/floor.mp4 This is a cheapo wi-fi camera in my detached garage. Video is cut down to 640x480 and sped up to 64x. 12 hours condensed to 3 minutes. You might want to turn the volume down a bit, it came out too loud.

    Strange Alert Issue

I've been using BI for several years now with very few problems. I have an issue that just popped up regarding alert clips. I only have 4 active cameras, all recording continuously, and recording motion alerts. All 4 worked perfectly until just recently. When viewing the alert clips on 1...

Time Lapse Video, what's the secret?

I figured it out. The time lapse video looked perfect viewing on the BI machine, but lacked quality viewing it remotely. I changed one of streaming web server tab and it looks great now. I need to tweak my time schedule and how often it records a frame but BI seems to make a great time lapse...

Time Lapse Video, what's the secret?

I cloned a camera and have it setup to create a time lapse video (one frame every 5 minutes during daylight hours). It seems to work but the video is very blocky. Does anyone have a tutorial, screen shots, or setting that they would like to share? The camera is a Hikvision 3MP dome that has a...
