I have no issues with the "Stored" folder on a Synology NAS (DS412+) BUT... 1. I don't run BI as a service 2. I use the network path \\192.168.1.xxx\cctv\BlueIris 3. My "New" & "Alerts" folders are on the local drive 4. I am running Windows Server 2012

If I remember correctly, this error code means that there is a sharing violation. I am almost certain that Ken (the developer) provided this info.

Hi Finally bought BI a few weeks back following a pretty successful trial period. Great application. Also purchased the iOS app. Setup here is fairly simple - 5 x Vivotek devices (3 x IP8332, 1Mp plus a couple of older units) running in a VM with 8Gb allocated memoryand 1TB of allocated NAS...
