Yet Another Free Extension for Blue Iris Adding AI Object Dectection/Reduction in False Alarms/Enhanced Notification of Activity/On Guard

I also had another Windows Server 2019 VM on my Hyper-V host so I decided to try it. Well it worked!!! So it turns out that I have some DLL issues on my main Windows Server host that I'll have to sort out. Thanks all.

Yet Another Free Extension for Blue Iris Adding AI Object Dectection/Reduction in False Alarms/Enhanced Notification of Activity/On Guard

Hmm... probably, but I thought it played nicer on the same BI machine? AI Tools detects BI and Deepstack and makes setup a breeze. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

[tool] [tutorial] Free AI Person Detection for Blue Iris

Yep, I noticed the same thing. Though, when I check the BI Alerts folder, all images there are AI Tool images with overlays. Seems that BI is not grabbing the Alert images at random times.

[tool] [tutorial] Free AI Person Detection for Blue Iris

Adding &jpeg=[ImagePathEscaped] to the trigger URL copies the AI image to the BI Alerts folder. BI then uses this image for it's alert email action. I'm glad I'm doing this as there's no way I would be staying up at 1am adjusting confidence levels after determining that my umbrella is NOT a cat!

AI Tools is looking for C:\DeepStack\server\server.exe The latest version of DeepStack changed this executable to deepstack.exe. Just rename it back to server.exe. That's it!

Yet Another Free Extension for Blue Iris Adding AI Object Dectection/Reduction in False Alarms/Enhanced Notification of Activity/On Guard

1.4.7 still crashes on my server. One thing I noticed in the even log as soon as it crashed was this SQL error. Log Name: Application Source: Microsoft-Windows-Perflib Date: 1/7/2021 6:15:49 PM Event ID: 2003 Task Category: None Level: Warning Keywords...

[tool] [tutorial] Free AI Person Detection for Blue Iris

Another option I got working is to use the 'Run external program' option and use a third party SMTP mailer called sendEmail.exe. This actually allows you to use the AI Tools variables in the email body. E:\Support\Blueiris\sendEmail.exe -f blueiris@somedomain.com -t me@somedomain.com -u "Blue...

[tool] [tutorial] Free AI Person Detection for Blue Iris

Got it!!! You CAN have BI send the image. Using AI Tools 2.0, if I enable Merge Annotations Into Images and set the trigger URL with the &jpeg=[ImagePathEscaped] appended, it copies the updated images to the BI Alerts folder. No need to enable 'Copy alert images to folder' in AI Tools either...

Is it possible to have BlueIris send email alerts with AI Tool image attachments? I know AI Tool can send to Telegram, but currently don't see an option to email alerts.

How are you guys handling alerts, specifically email alerts? I would like to get emails of relative images from AI Tools instead of the normal alerts from BI. Additionally it would be nice if the alert images can contain the same AI indications that is shown in AI Tools History.

Yet Another Free Extension for Blue Iris Adding AI Object Dectection/Reduction in False Alarms/Enhanced Notification of Activity/On Guard

Uninstalled On-Guard, re-ran the Test Version 1 setup.exe and installed for Everyone (not Just for me). Tried to launch the app again and it crashed. Below is what is produced in the Application Event Log. Server is AMD Ryzen 1700 (Giga-byte MB), SSD, 32GB RAM, Windows 2019 Datacenter. Log...

The only folder under Roaming is OnGuardDatabase with the SQL database and log file. No OnGuard folder nor the OnGuard.txt file. Does this folder get created upon installation or successful launch?

Yet Another Free Extension for Blue Iris Adding AI Object Dectection/Reduction in False Alarms/Enhanced Notification of Activity/On Guard

Nope doesn't startup at all and errors out immediately after launch. I've also tried the install for Everyone (non-AppData) with the same results. I will tell you that AI Tools (2.x) works perfectly on the same server. Needed the option to send alerts from the AI software as opposed to Blue...

BlueIris not moving clips to NAS

That was the first thing I did for my customer after reading that post a few days ago. Created the user account on the Synology with the same password, set the BI service to run as that user, no dice. Evidently, on my setup, I have my BI service running as Local System and Guest account enabled...

BlueIris not moving clips to NAS

I have a setup where 100GB limit is set on the New folder and Stored is set to move to my Synology NAS. The problem is the clips show that they are moving in the status windows (with a yellow exclamation), but do not actually move. I've already set the BI service to run as a user that is...

    BI on Intel NUC i5-7260U, RAM:4GB, HDD:1TB, 16GB OPTANE 7I5BNHXF

Looking at this same NUC to replace an i7 2600 running 16 Hikvision cameras @ 1080p. I'm more looking for something that's space saver, so a desktop wont work for me. Are the specs of that NUC good for BI?

    New AMD Ryzen

Good to know k3v0, I'm currently running 7 Dahua cameras (5 @ 720p & 2 @ 1080p) on my AMD FX-8320. Even with no HA, my CPU sits at 17%-20%. I'll also add that this server is running Hyper-V with 4 active VMs and also running Plex & Emby. So I know the Ryzen is a very capable CPU and most...

    New AMD Ryzen

Just got word from Ken and he states that the next step would be to work on nVidia HA. This is actually good news for us as we can always add these discrete GPUs in our AMD Ryzen servers. Looks like other VMS vendors are finding success with nVidia as well. 20170403-NVIDIA

    New AMD Ryzen

I wasn't demanding anything. All I'm simply saying is that there options. Whether or not BI wants to invest time into it is there choice. I'm actually speaking for the ones out there who did spend the $60 (including me) and would like to provide a little input to the 'single' developer. We...
