You are correct, not sure why the clip wasn't deleted last time but I'm having the issue again.
I exported this morning through the web interface and the entire clip is gone again. When I click on the clip, it seems to be directed to the clipboard folder for some reason. In the storage folders...
Well that seems to have done it. I selected NO for HVA. Then I clicked OK then I tried to click OK in the next screen but I clicked No because it warned me with this message below:
The setting still took. I went to the web interface, exported a clip, and my original BVR clip is still there...
This is the only error I see in the log
The other interesting thing I see is that the file in the clipboard folder has the original file date. It should have been a newly created file with today's date.
I checked settings and I see an interesting option that I don't ever remember setting...
So the original 4GB clip is gone and inside the clipboard folder there is the shortened version of the clip I exported. I am using H.265
Here is the error when I try to view the full clip in BI. It's pointing to the Clipboard folder for some reason. And it's pointing to the file I exported but...
I've noticed this on all of my BI systems. I use the web interface and export a portion of a clip. Then I noticed the entire clip is missing from the stored folder.
Is there a fix for this?
I deleted and regenerated the database. It's now 131 megabytes. Compact regen happens in the blink of an eye now. Looks like it was update related, thanks.
I know the storage scenario isn't optimal but I've been hesitant to try writing 25 cameras directly to NAS. I'm going to rebuild from the...
I'm on 5.6.9.8 which I updated to a few days ago. Prior to that I probably updated BI around the timeframe that I started seeing the issues. Not sure if it's related but would seem so since I've made no real changes to BI. At this point very tempted to delete and regenerate, what do you think?
My BI database is on an NVMe drive separate from my Windows NVMe drive.
My video files write to the same NVMe drive.
The video files stay on the NEW folder until 12 hours or 450GB, then they are offloaded to my NAS.
The stored files on the NAS stay on there until 8TB. There are 3971 files on...
Sorry I wasn't more clear. It changed the IP address in the BI configuration, not on the cameras, and I was unable to change it back to the correct IP address. All of my cameras have static IP addresses outside of the DHCP scope.
The MAC address feature does sound kind of cool, but didn't work...
Updated to BI 5.6.2 the other day on one of my BI systems. Last night, the IP addresses of 2 of the cameras was changed in the BI configuration. I usually reserve .50-.200 for DHCP and the addresses in BI was configured for IP addresses in the DHCP range but I would never have put my cameras in...
Just wanted to say thanks for this. This was the solution to my problem. My admin password has a few special characters in it an @ symbol and !. I've been trying each suggestion in this thread and reverting back to see what would work. Today I created an ONVIF user with a less complex password...
FWIW, I am having this same problem and I do believe OP is correct that it's the carrier. I, too, have T-Mobile. The reason why I think it's a T-Mobile issue is that I traveled outside of the country and used an eSim card to be on another carrier network with the same phone. While on the other...
I have both the 5A425 and the 49425 and a couple 49225 cameras. The 5A425 the tracking doesn't work as well for me. Given the problems I've had with a faulty 5A425, the larger size and uglier look, and the focal length is less versatile for me, I would not recommend the 5A425. I just had another...
I do have a USB wifi adapter on the NVR. Transferring to a computer also using wifi on the same LAN. Trying to export 8 hours of continuous footage it's looking like it will be well over an hour for DAV format. MP4 and AVI looks like it will be a lot slower so there is some reencoding lag as well.
Trump files his motion to intervene in the Texas suit.

Get your popcorn ready...
Reading that 17 more states joined onto the Texas lawsuit. Missouri, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, and West Virginia.
Here is an easy one to watch. There are many, many more mathematically heavy analyses that show it's damn near impossible.
Any reasonable informed voter would be hard pressed to believe the election results just based on that. But it's overwhelming evidence from sworn affidavits of wrongdoing...
He was set up by the FBI which Obama weaponized. Even the FBI agents didn't think he was lying. This is a silly liberal talking point that is repeated over and over again like the Charlottesville hoax. 20% of exonerations are guilty pleas. The prosecutors threatened to charge his son. Dad taking...
That's what their laws say. But let's not forget the real issue is that they are getting ballots after death and some are getting returned to be counted.
I posted it as I found it. Many people attempting to verify it currently, I'm sure there will be some revisions and it might not be all accurate. I looked at the list and looks like they must have ran a query for everyone born 1920 or before. That would make them 100 and the odds of someone...
