BI DAT Tool - Filter/inspect/delete Blue Iris AI-analysis 'DAT' files; Extract JPG images and JSON results

This suggests a bug in the script. if possible, would you mind running the same command adding the -DevMode argument, then PM the resulting alertlist_camera.json file? Edit: And also the script’s *.csv file.

BI DAT Tool - Filter/inspect/delete Blue Iris AI-analysis 'DAT' files; Extract JPG images and JSON results

Not currently. But it should be easy enough to add to V2.1. Are you saying the DAT files for these db-confirmed Alerts have no asterisked images when viewed in the Blue Iris DAT Viewer? If I correctly understand how the models work, you might want to use those currently low confidence images...

BI DAT Tool - Filter/inspect/delete Blue Iris AI-analysis 'DAT' files; Extract JPG images and JSON results

Argument -FilterFlags 'C' applies to the database Confirmed flag, Using it means that DAT files for Unconfirmed alerts will not be inspected/extracted. Am I understanding correctly that you want to extract ONLY the confirmed image from DAT files?

Assuring that your 'Protected' Alerts survive a Database/Regenerate action

Script updated to V3. see post #1 to download the file If you tried an earlier version and did not like the ugly yellow replacement that JPGs it created (when a DAT file could not be found), then you will like this new version. Key features of this new version are: In recognition that the...

BI DAT Tool - Filter/inspect/delete Blue Iris AI-analysis 'DAT' files; Extract JPG images and JSON results

Thanks for the feedback. Regarding the warnings, YES, you may ignore them. They are provided to let you know that some database records no longer have an associated BVR file. This is not a big deal for this utility. BTW, if you wish to identify these records, you can use script argument...

BI DAT Tool - Filter/inspect/delete Blue Iris AI-analysis 'DAT' files; Extract JPG images and JSON results

The script automatically saves the JSON login session ID so that it may be reused. The prior version of the script did not always recognize when the session id needed to be regenerated. Try deleting all *.txt files in this folder.

BI DAT Tool - Filter/inspect/delete Blue Iris AI-analysis 'DAT' files; Extract JPG images and JSON results

I'll try to upload V2 in the next few days. It fixes these null.string_function() errors while building the output table and CSV file. it also: supports filtering DAT files by Flag (i.e., protected, not protected, confirmed, not confirmed) identifies the DAT file's confirmed image and extracts...

Send Pushover notifications with pictures and hyperlinks

I believe it is $5 per Google Play account, and $5 per Apple Store account. If family members share the Google Play or Apple Store account, then they can share the app. If you migrate the Google Play or Apple account to a new device, you do not need to pay again. Just like all your other apps...

    5.8.7.8

Update 5.8.7.9 Ken has modified the DAT viewer dialog to make it easy to grab the DAT file name. The DAT filename is now located at the top of the JSON box, where it may selected and copied using Ctrl-C. I use this feature to quickly locate the Alert's JPG and DAT file in the Blue Iris...

Please confirm that the user_settings file setting $bi_alert_folder_path has been updated to reflect the new location for the Alerts folder (if indeed it has changed). The script will attempt to extract 10 images from the BVR file if the DAT file cannot be found. These images will span the...

Need help setting up BI5 text alerts.

This happens when the attachment file does not exist. I don’t see the actual command are trying to use from the cmd prompt, so it’s not possible for me to debug it. Here are some scenarios… Your file path contains a Blue Iris macro (macros expand only when used from Blue Iris actions) -F...

Best hard drive setup for Blue Iris?

It’s always been my understanding that the thumbnail images are stored in the database itself. To check this, I just opened the clips.dat file in a hex editor and searched for the JFIF Start of Image (SOI) marker (bytes FF D8). REF: Per the JPEG File Interchange Format (JFIF)... any JPEG file...

I have created a PowerShell script that can restore missing alert JPGs via DAT files and/or BVR clips. If you are adventurous enough to try it, I’ll PM you later today. I’m off to an appointment now.

Send Pushover notifications with pictures and hyperlinks

I have not noticed this, perhaps because I’m now exclusively using my bi_gif_tool.ps1 utility instead the curl command (I’ve gotten used to a bit of delay). However, I can say that I am sending dozens of pushover notifications a day via Powershell scripts I am working on. For these, I have...

Implementing temporary alert pause based on external

Because I live in a neighborhood I prefer to leave my driveway cameras unpaused when departing. This is just in case anything happens while I’m backing out of the garage - I want to alert the event. For example, a speeding car, or a child zooming down the sidewalk behind the car. This is...

Implementing temporary alert pause based on external

For arrivals, you could also try sending the following HTTP interface command to your garage/driveway cams when your device enters your geofence. Or do it manually by touching a URL link icon on your device’s screen. It will accept camera group names for x. And if you want a duration different...
