There is nothing good about Reolink. I have one of their 4mp cameras. Nightvission is horrible when it comes to FPS. I would only consider Reolink if you don't need an night vision.

I just got a handful of cameras for free from a leftover yardsale. I believe they are all bricked, but I am trying to see if I can unbrick them. They all power up through POE, and the IR LEDs activate, but the cameras do not appear on SADPtool. Is this normal for a bricked camera?

Try turning off DHCP on the camera (if it has that feature) and make sure the IP address on each camera matches the IP address that the NVR is assigning to the cameras. Make sure the default gateway address is also matching.

I just setup these camera yesterday. It was easy for me. You have to screw in the adjustment knobs with a small flathead screwdriver to make them tight.

I'm talking about the adjustable knob between the camera and the mount. It can be removed by hand, then the cable will be exposed. That's the way my HIKVISION bullet cameras were designed anyhow. Maybe other designs are more secure?

Why is it "shitty" for me? Amazon always refunds if there is a problem with a 3rd party seller, and usually they don;t even require the seller to return the item.
