Find would not work but it did end up working with /Streaming/Channels/101 /Streaming/Channels/102 I forgot to change the port from 554 to 8554
thx
I want to use a hikvision analog recorder instead of a dedicated analog encoder, specifically for use with blue iris. The usual rtsp:/<user>:<password>@<IP>:8554/Streaming/channels/10<1|2> works. Problem is in BI when you connect over RTSP you loose the option to have a main/sub stream for each...
I have a X21A1E1 NVR that is connecting to two hikvision IP cams. I can retrieve the sub stream in VLC with no issues but not the main stream. I am using the url rtsp://admin:password@192.168.89.198:554/1/cam/realmonitor?channel=5&subtype=1 It takes a long time to load and when it does the image...
When I load the dahua page in pale moon it says I need to install the plugin even though I already have. I installed it with all browsers closed, also deleted the plugin and reinstalled to no avail. It does not show up in the plugins page of pale moon. What else should I try?
I have a hikvision ptz that is being operated throught a VMS and operating with a joystik. It eventually displays the OSD message "Recording pattern Full" which suggests either the VMS or the joystick is inadvertently sending a command to begin a recording pattern. Hikvsion blames this on the...
Most recent I can find is 2.0 from 2013 does anyone know if there is a newer version out there any where I might find it? On a side note does anyone know if the Hikision API is the same on LTS
Based on this guide I think i have it setup properly
https://dahuawiki.com/FTP/FTP_Snapshot_Setup
If im understanding correctly
Channel 1 should be sending a still every one second, in the ftp settings page it passes the test and it creates a directory on my ftp server named after the date but...
Trying to help a bud out, what are some low voltage electronics related jobs to be found in rural areas. Radio towers, emergency call boxes, state highway related cctv thats was all I could come up with any suggestions would be appreciated.
Once you get into sip capability the price goes way up as far as I know there is the mobotix door station but it does not have onvif and I dont think it has an RTSP stream you can access. Than there is the axis http://www.axis.com/us/en/products/axis-a8004-ve
I ended up using one of these http://www.dahuasecurity.com/products/ipc-hdpw4120f-w-1205.html and than setup a raspberry pi that grabs a still shot from rtsp stream and emails it when rung.
ONVIF is a broken standard, so just because your nvr supports it and the encoder supports its still not guaranteed. Hikvision will blame the encoder manufacturer and the encoder manufacturer will blame hikvision. I would find and an analog encoder that is officially supported by Hikvision. Also...
sorry to hear, you probably got the TS-5-POE which is 24 volt and only works with certain ubiquity products and some ip phone. TS-8 is the a great switch and the model you need.
Specifically Im looking at the IPC-HDBW4221FN(-AS) but there website just throws an error when I try to download the manual. On a side not why do security companies always run on the least secure technologies. Anyway Im trying to hook up a doorbell button up to a alarm input and than email a...
Agreed, I have to two customers who would buy tomorrow. I looked at ring.com and they do not publish many specs so I called them and they were not very knowledgeable but did confirm there is no way to connect to the cameras video stream via onvif. This axis model seems nice...
Here is what Im looking for
ONVIF compatible
Cost under 1000 usd
Not made by some trendy startup company that may or may not exist next year
POE
Does not rely on cloud services to function
Not required but would be nice is SIP two way audio
Maybe Im asking to much and just need to install a...
Is there such a thing? I have a customer who wants a heat detector in a barn but wants the siren to be on the outside of the barn. Is there such a product? Otherwise I figured I would just use a vista 20 with a siren and wired heat detector.
Thanks
