Thanks for the suggestion @mech but at almost $700 CAD that is not a cheap option. Also, not sure if the DELL 7040 would support that large a drive?? I thought it was a nono to defrag an SSD drive?

As @looney2ns posted, the Klein Tools VDV226-110 is the best on the market. All the professional cabers I know, use this tool.

I have FTP working from my Hikvision cameras to a PC running Windows 7 no issues. Cannot get my Dahua to connect. Here is a screen of my settings

I use Gmail and think most users do, there are some threads about how this can be setup.

He can even create a batch file, put in scheduled tasks. I have one on my FTP server that runs daily and deletes files that are 30 days or older. I never have to manually delete old alerts anymore.

You would need to find the optimal Video Driver. It took me trying about 6 different drivers before finding the right one. Cut my CPU usage buy at least 60%.

Just put the camera in full B&W mode and the spot is not there. **Scratching my head** Now need to figure out why the spot is there.

@faran, Your cameras should be fine. Only the config on the NVR will be affected.

Thanks fenderman, I am not sure how that setting changed on the cameras but it was set at 30fps when all my other cameras are set to 15fps. Will keep an eye on it.

In BI4, I set all my cameras to 15fps but one keeps reverting back to 30fps. I have two other cameras the same and the others are fine. The bitrate seems to be hovering around 97.00 kB/s but the others are up around 360.00 kB/s
