    Blue Iris UI3

It was mainly a Blue Iris question, not necessarily UI3 related. I just can't seem to get alert indicators on the timeline in the main BI console. Apologies, I'll ask elsewhere.

No, how do you enable the alert icons/bookmarks on the timeline. I have alerts already enabled as I receive motion detection emails.

My nginx config is configured in the same way as other services I use, which all work OK. @Swynol and my configurations are the same, as we're trying to get it working with nginx. The code you refer to is set like this: location / { proxy_pass http://IPADDRESS:PORT/; We are both...

Seems strange that BI can't cope with a RP, when most other modern services work fine. When you click login, it does a redirect, so what is it actually redirecting to? So UI3 isn't using the same, more efficient, video decoder then?

Is there a fix for this, as I have the same issue as well. Also, I get the following message when I login from my phone: "Your CPU is not fast enough to handle this stream in realtime" Is this the phone CPU or server? In either case, the Live streaming works fine in the mobile app, so...

Still not getting very far with this. When email notification is enabled, I get an email with 2 images attached. If I enable the app notification, I get a notification on my phone. When I open the app, there is nothing in the alerts page. I'm also still not getting the little red triangle on...

OK, perhaps the app isn't very intuitive, but if I open the camera in the app and then click on the calender icon, I see dates with a red tick on, which when I open the date, shows me clips for that camera. When selected, they play OK. Is this the only way to see them in the app, via the...

1536Gb storage allocated, with ~4.5Tb total free. All clip folders point to the same folder. I don't do any moving or encoding.

Yes, they play fine in the BI console. They so play in MPC-HC. OK, HI-RES image un-checked. Only one Admin account, which can do everything.

Yes, there are BVR files there. Blue Iris admin user, or PC? PC only has one account, the admin account. You can't see anything wrong in the RECORDING or ALERT tabs?

No error and I have motion detection enabled. When I open the app, I see my cameras listed and on the right is an image with a number on, so I assume clips to play. When I click on it, nothing happens, other than showing be a still image. No video plays. See attached image for info. It shows...

Been running in CONTINUOUS RECORDING mode for a while now, but none of the recordings play in either the console or Android app. I'm recording in BVR mode and writing direct to disc. I also create new video files every hour or 1Gb,whichever is first. What am I doing wrong please? I also...

OK, so I've been using BVR recording for the last 24 hours, but I still don't get recordings play all the time in the console, even if they are several hours old. The recordings don't play at all in the mobile app. I get the hi-res images to show, just no recordings. Suggestions please? Thanks.

If it's still being written to, that's something I'll have to live with, but I don't do continuous recording. Why does it not make sense to view in Emby ?? That's a personal decision. Emby has a Security Cameras plugin written for this purpose.

    Unable to open file: 80004005

The BVR format is proprietary, so I can't use the videos in Emby (like Plex), which how I would like to view the clips when not in front of the console, hence why I used MP4. I'll try that codec, but I hate having to install codex packs. Thanks.

Whenever there is a new motion detection video create by BI, it never plays in the console, but I get the above error.why is this please? Does the BI have a lock on the file or something, as I can't even play the file directly from the folder where there stored. I'm running BI v4.6.3 x64...

Hi. New member here, having just replaced my analog CCTV system with a self-installed IP PoE CCTV system. I've installed 4 cameras so far, connected to my internal lan via a Cisco SF300-24PP 24-Port 10/100 PoE+ Managed Switch. I'm using the Blue Iris NVR software, recording to local discs...
