Never used AI detection and I was wondering if it would work with black and white thermal images. Also, how close does an object have to be to determine what it is? I'm guessing the object needs to be close as in ones driveway but don't know.

Does anyone know if there is a way to have motion detection always "on" on a camera regardless of the "traffic light" status? The reason I ask, is because although most of my cameras motion detection is turned on when it's night or we are away, I'd like to have my gate camera (1/4 mile away)...
