    Object detection issue? glitchy video

That seems to have fixed it. Perhaps there is an issue with the 13th gen Intel GPU's. Fortunately this processor is so fast I don't mind leaving it off. thanks for the help.

    Object detection issue? glitchy video

Intel Quicksync on both CPU's are far as I know. The cameras (Dahua and Hikvision) haven't had their firmwares upgraded since well before my Blue Iris update. It's why it's a head scratcher! I may turn off hardware acceleration in BI and see what happens.

    Object detection issue? glitchy video

I upgraded from a 4th generation Intel box to a 13th gen, reloaded Blue Iris, restored my backup, license, and for the most part, everything is working great. Except for one thing. I'm getting glitches in the video and they are always around moving objects. I'm not sure why or how to...

Blue Iris iOS update cut off icons

I use the "zoomed mode" on my iPhone 8 since I don't want the icons too small. That may have something to do with it, but I'm unwilling to change it for fear it'll rearrange all my icons. Bob2701, are you willing to try?

Blue Iris iOS update cut off icons

Yep, I sent an email. Just wondering if anyone else saw it.

Blue Iris iOS update cut off icons

Nope. Not scrollable. I can still hit the icons, but it's definitely a scaling issue.

Blue Iris iOS update cut off icons

I have an iPhone 8 running the latest iOS and the new Blue Iris app doesn't look right on my phone. Anyone else seeing the two icons cut off below the Schedule?

New update - no CPU usage in iOS app

Same here. I don't have auto-update on and only just happen to run it locally at that time. It could have been out for a week as far as I know.

New update - no CPU usage in iOS app

Ever since I did the update today, I don't see any CPU or memory usage in the Apple iPhone app. That's it. Just sayin'

    Dahua vs Hikvision uniqueness?

WTF? I never said it didn't have poe, but you're the one who said they all had audio, and now you're calling me a fool. You treat everyone this way?

    Dahua vs Hikvision uniqueness?

Well that's what I thought. So not all Starlights support audio.

    Dahua vs Hikvision uniqueness?

Thanks everyone. My Dahua Starlights do not have audio. I'm not sure if there is a model that does, but that's what Andy recommended to me.

    Dahua vs Hikvision uniqueness?

I own a couple Hikvision cameras and due to many posts on this forum, invested in a couple Starlight Dahua cameras as well. My Hikvision can do audio, PoE and Wifi. The Dahuas simply have Starlight. No Wifi or audio (although to be fair, I didn't want it). That being said, is there anything...

    Starlight benefits?

After owning a couple Hikvision cameras, I bought a couple Dahua IPC-HFW4231S "Starlight" cameras from Andy on this forum for my basement. It's usually dark at night, but during the day there is still a little light that comes in from the basement windows. I'm not sure what I was expecting...

I have the same issue with all iPhone IP camera apps that I've tried, but I have the same issue with my Dahua's too. Blue Iris works fine.

Has anyone got an iPhone viewer app to work with these cameras? I can't seem to get any of them to recognize or view them. If so, which one, and what were your settings?

Dell Optiplex SFF vs USFF heat?

Well I have a USFF Optiplex 9020 coming and I plan on using the WD AV-25 HDD which should be good enough for my needs. I only do motion based recording. I'll find out how loud (or hot) it is soon enough!

ANNKE I61DR 2MP (Hikvision Cube Clone)

Second question: On two different iPhone Apps (Netcamviewer and LiveCams Pro), I have a problem streaming from these cameras. It works once, like the first time in a day, then afterwards gives me authentication errors and won't display video. It works 100% of the time in Blue Iris. Yes, I...

ANNKE I61DR 2MP (Hikvision Cube Clone)

Does anyone know what the Smoothing parameter does in the Video configuration? I noticed the main stream is all the way to 100. Is there a benefit to lowering it? And if so, to what?

Any way to record a few seconds before the trigger?

Does pre-triggering recording occur in memory or disk? So is the constant buffer of extra "recording" always writing to disk or RAM? If RAM, that's a pretty cool feature!
