I did not say they intentionally did it... I said the software hoses itself when uninstalling 4, which does not mean the software authors did it intentionally... but it does hose the BI5 installation, does it not??? You need to sit down and relax...

The screengrab I supplied showing the image quality issue with the thumbnail is during the day... the light is off... the picture quality shown above that, at night, with the light on, is fine for me at the current point in time.... not sure what the fascination is with the lightbulb, can...

strange, in the blueiris main screen, the thumbnail image is a lot less clear than the hikvision.

yeah, but if you can shut all but one drive down for weeks at a time... it might just be a 'not worth it thing', but thought I would ask.. but the redundancy thing... if one goes bad can you have it automatically write to the other, or would you need raid JBOD?
