What is router's ip address ? That would be the default gateway that needs to be set in the NVR. They should match. Did you change that on your NVR ?

You need to be on the same subnet....your NVR is 192.168.1.108 , you need to change the ip of your laptop to the same subnet, ie, 192.168.1.250 or something like that...

BI doesn't have Trip wire, but does have zone settings, that can be configured similar to Trip wire.
