I have a Synology DS214 and it works great with 10 Hikvision cameras capturing motion detection. The only pain is the cost of additional licenses at $50 each. The NAS itself comes with free license for 2 cameras. But I love it.

I would not buy it. If it's too good to be true, it probably is. I bought a DJI Phantom 2 drone months ago $200-300 below normal price and it was never delivered. The seller would not reply to any messages either. I had to file a complaint to get my money back. Lesson learned :)

I have an old DS-2CD2332-I that comes with 4.0.9 firmware and has "CCRR" in the serial number. The camera is dated some time in 2013. I would like to upgrade to a newer firmware version like 5.1.6 or 5.2.5. I wonder if I can upgrade it via the web UI or I should use TFTP. And is this a Chinese...
