I appreciate the suggestions. I've seen the app, and didn't realize it could be used in such a way. Awesome. :headbang:

    HIK Web Component for Android

Hello, I appreciate you taking the time to read this post. I currently have a few cameras setup at home with a static ip address. I'm able to view the cameras using a browser from anywhere I travel. I currently have the firefox browser on my Android cell phone and can log into the cams without...

    Ikegami IPD-BX110

I appreciate the reply. I took some pics of the 4 boards inside the cam. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing any push buttons on any of them. I'm not sure what to look for as far as any jumpers to short or do whatever. Maybe you can see something that looks promising, or might suggest some ideas.

    Ikegami IPD-BX110

Hello, I'm hoping someone can help out. I purchased a couple of Ikegami IPC's about 6 mos ago. A cube BX11 and a BX110. Upon purchase, the cams were factory. I set them up to my specs, ip's ports, etc, and apparently the login credentials as well. I only tinkered with them for a day or two...

    LaView LV-PB932F4 -- Hikvision Camera?

Thank you lostindark, for the updated FW link, the links seldom stay up for too long. Also, I was able to update a couple these ipcams to FW V5.4.5 build 170123. Not too much difference between the 2 FW's. If I'm not mistaken, I believe you lose SSH with 5.4.5, but gain security from the...

    R0 / DS-2CD2x32 BrickfixV2 brick recovery and full upgrade tool - enhanced.

Thank you alastair, another successful DS-2CD2432F-IW upgrade to 5.4.5, straight from FW 4.0.8. Camera was locked in at 5.2.5, and any attempt to update FW would default it back to some FW 4.0.8 or something something, 5.3.0 downgrader would get it back to 5.2.5. I bought the cam on Amazon for...

    Hikvision IPC Firmware 5.5.0 - released 24 Sept 2017

@OddMorning, very much appreciate your R6 fake 5.5.0 patch. It worked for my LaView LV-PB932F4 (aka HIK DS2CD2220/22) w/FM 5.4.0. LaView has joined the no revert bandwagon and locked their FM @ 5.4.0, similar to HIK, and took it further by not allowing any update newer as well, scabby at the...

    LaView LV-PB932F4 -- Hikvision Camera?

I only use HIK firmware, I've yet to try a Laview FW. I believe the current latest version on Laview site is 5.40. I can't speak on those FW's. What I will say is make sure you use the TFTP method to update, it works when other ways fail. To use, make sure IPC is on, then start tftp program...

    LaView LV-PB932F4 -- Hikvision Camera?

Another update on updating firmware for the LaView IP/Cams LV-PB932F4 aka (HIKVision DS-2CD2020(D)I). Successfully updated to V5.4.81 build 180203 using FW from first site below: read pdf for list of supported cams, a quite extensive list FW 5.4.81-180203 DOWNLOAD PORTAL On another note, it...

    LaView LV-PB932F4 -- Hikvision Camera?

Great info in this thread for the Laview 6 ipcam setup purchased through Newegg (or whereever), a deal that's hard to beat and arguably the best bang for your buck, if still available. I just wanted to supplement allanak's last post, the firmwares he listed are still current as of date of this...

nvr stuck on embedded NVR on screen

Is it me, or are most of the replies comparing apples to oranges here. The box you want to upgrade is a 7616, and all of the success replies are using a 7800 series box. The link to the 3.3.4 firmware does not show any support for the 7600 series, yes the 7800 series, but not the 7600 series. I...
