I have a roll of white 22AWG 8C SHIElDED TYPE CL3P/FPLP. Will it work for IP cams?

no, needs the twisted pairs to reduse crosstalk.. plus you'd never get em into RJ45 crimps.

Thanks! I was able to get them in my EZ-RJ45 connectors. A recent discovery. Wow the EZ-RJ45 connectors are really nice. You have to have their tool but it saves me a lot of time and re-crimping.
A contractor gave me this spool and the manufacterer says it is for surveilance but I had my doubts. Thanks again!

It's intended for other security/surveillance applications like wiring alarm sensors, microphones/speakers to cameras/dvrs, power, rs-485 for analog ptzs.

Ethernet requires UTP or STP cable (twisted pair)
