I installed 4.5.8.0 yesterday and was having a lot of issues opening alert clips. Kept getting the black screen with "unable to open clip" error. Soon after BI would crash and I'd need to kill it in task manager.
I rolled it back to 4.5.7.4 and the problem immediately went away.
Just throwing it out there in case someone is having the same issue.
