4.6.4.9 - November 9, 2017

  • This update specifically addresses a bug which causes camera time to "run fast" under high system load.

Upgraded to version 4.6.4.9 today and now playback is accelerated? The CPU utilization rate is about 15%

There's a .11 update available and it seems to have cured that problem, at least for me.

My problem wasn't "lagging" per se. I have one 4mp camera and daytime, color, video was fine but night time video, B&W, from that camera would play sort of stop motion. An object would move at high speed halfway through the frame, stop while the "play" indicator continued to move and count time, then quickly move out of frame. When I say "high speed" and "quickly" I mean at speeds similar to X64 or X128. Really disconcerting. The problem happened both on the local console and on a LAN connected PC logged into the web server so it was a definite playback problem. That camera is a "no name" and I suspected the camera more than BI, but I will be adding more 4mp cameras to the system and wanted to be sure it wasn't 4mp image related. No more "no name" cameras though.

I haven't updated to .12, yet.
