I'm currently running 8gb ram in my hp prodesk i5 6500. Im thinking of adding 2 more 4gb sticks. Cpu now is around 40% but with docker deepstack and ai tool im getting cpu spikes into the 90s.. Does anyone think the ram will assist?
Thanks

I believe BI system with 8 or more cameras at 500 MP/S need 16GB memory. The more processing the more memory.
Are you using substreams to reduce load ?
Are you using quicksync to reduce load.

I think it will, I originally ran my system with 8Gb, then upgraded to 12Gb which helped with the spikes. I’ve since upgraded to 16Gb which didn’t really make that much difference but i had the 4Gb stick laying around so better in the PC.
