This subject gets bantered about here from time to time.

I thought I would leave these two instances here as food for thought.
This NOT my way of judging anyones comments on this matter.
I simply want to provoke thought.

In the case of the good samaritan, it's a shame one has to second guess everything when doing the right thing should be a no-brainer.

Good Samaritans who attempt to render medical aid can wind up in a mess too. Thankfully EDIT: ALL states do have good samaritan laws but it can still get messy and the details vary from state to state. All it takes is some ambulance chaser to show up at the hospital after seeing the puff piece on the local news.

if you don't help someone because of what people will think of you, you are truly a coward, it sucks that liberal scumbags demonize this guy now but he did what was right and anyone that won't hire you because of it is a scumbag you don't want to work for anyways.

It honestly sounded like his biggest hassles were from the press coverage.

The ONLY two words for the media regardless of what they are asking you, in what situation, or why... "NO COMMENT"
yep, his mistake was talking to anyone without a laywer present, the only thing you say to the cops is I have nothing to say without a lawyer present and I consent to nothing.
