For a while now I've always wondered why at 2am I'd receive an Email Alert of motion, however I've never been able to find it on the server. Apparently this happens while the server is Compacting/Repairing the DB. Are there any best practices on how to avoid this data loss? I've change my scheduled time to 4am, however I'll never know at what time I'll have an important data alert.
