Alexa has apps that can be downloaded which provide support for security camera systems.
Amazon released an API so developers could create apps for Alexa.

Says Amazon: "Companies like Ring, Arlo, Nest, August, EZViz, Vivint, Amcrest, Logitech, and IC Realtime have already created Alexa skills (apps) leveraging the new cameras capability.
And: "Now, customers can say things like: Alexa, show me the front door camera,’ when they hear someone knocking"

What about Dahua?
@john-ipvm, have your heard anything about what be coming?

Okay, I kept digging. Found this thread:
View Control

Basically, use TinyCam Pro, loaded onto a Firestick, which is plugged into a TV.
"Alexa, change TV to HDMI2", and I should see a camera view.
My FireStick arrives tomorrow, my booty from the big "Prime Day" sale.

My flat panel needs about 20 seconds to power up, so we'll see how useful this is (for times when the TV isn't already on)

Any updates on this? I was thinking about this just now for my aunt who wants an easy way to show the front door, but I'm not a fan of setting up a ring with all these other option out
