Alternative camera or is this still good enough?

Hi all,

I have 2 x Hikvision DS-2CD2142FWD-I 2.8 mm camera with my Blue Iris setup.

Recently, one has become faulty and this was returned for a refund as there is no stock replacement due to backlog of stock/orders.

Question: is this still a good camera to re-order or should I look for something else? If so, what?

I am based in the UK and the budget is £100-ish.

Have you been happy with the night performance? If so you could consider re-ordering. I have a couple of 4mp Hiks that I like in daytime but had to get external IR to be happy with my night vision, but they have been good cameras. Mine are turrets which I prefer over domes. I have since added some 2mp Dahuas (Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z)) which have been much better at night, Hikvision may have some decent 2mp but I don't know enough to comment about them.
