we got 4 amcrest cameras to use to use with the amcrest cloud. every time wifi signal is lost and comes back the cameras reconnect to cloud for live view but do not resume uploads until camera is turned off and on again. have tried 5 amcrest cameras- 2 diff models- and 3 routers. updated all software hard resets to factory and even tried turning off firewall. tried with another cloud service using the same p2p connection and same issue. hoewever using ftp uploads and another cloud service that uses the http port i don't have this issue. cameras resume uploads and it works fine if wifi is lost and comes back it just automatically resumes again. we would like to use amcrest cloud because its easier. we have tried contacting amcrest to no avail so far many many times. does anyone have any suggestion? our router sometimes also power cycles or resets its from comcast so we need to make sure the cameras will upload video to the cloud if the wifi goes out and come back on.
thanks

Step 1 - return amcrest cams
Step 2 - dont use wifi...
Step 3 - buy dahua cameras (amcrest rebrands dahua) and use a pc based NVR like blue iris or milestone...
Step 4 - record locally...
Step 5 - enjoy the peace...
