That's a cool capture! I don't often even see them in the wild here. We had a wee Northern Saw-whet crash into one our windows a few years ago though. Cute lil fellow, but it must be a terror to mice.



In your video, I thought for sure, that that dark thing behind the car was a huge rat playing dead, tail and all. I kept waiting for it to make it's move. Guess it wasn't a rat after all lol

You just confirmed what I though it was. Probably the result of acoustic parking :rofl:

very soft soil there. I actually stuck it back in the ground last night after investigating the immediate area to see if there was evidence of a freshly caught gopher or something (didn't see any), and this morning it fell over the other way.
