I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but for whatever reason I can't seem to get the app on my new phone to connect.

I can input the exact same information in my old phone and it connects right away. Even after deleting all mobile devices in settings, my old phone connects right away, but my new phone won't.

Tried creating a new user/password in settings, but it just won't connect.

I went from a Samsung Note8 to a Note20. I've deleted the app from both phones, reinstalled and still the same outcome.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you’ve entered the wrong username and password too many times the phones IP address has been blocked clear it in the web server advance settings

I copy/pasted everything from my pw manager. I don't see any ip addresses listed as blocked in advanced or any button to clear blocked ip addresses. Very confused why one phone connects with same info, but not this one.

I got my new phone to connect on the http port, but not the https port. I get all green check marks in remote wizard, uninstalled/reinstalled stunnel, but new phone just won't connect on https port or outside LAN.

EDIT: Now I'm seeing "error:14094417:SSL routines:ssl3_read_bytes:sslv3 alert illegal parameter" in Stunnel log when reloading configuation file and trying to connect. Any help would be appreciated, as this is getting over my head.

The fact that you are using stunnel should have been mentioned in the first post. There are several threads discussing stunnel issues with new samsung phones.

I should have mentioned stunnel, sorry about that. I made the mistake assuming it wasn't the issue since it has been working just fine for a while.

I looked through many other threads with similar errors. I got the error mentioned above, and also WSAECONNREFUSED after editing the stunnel.conf file.

Finally got it working after uninstalling/installing Stunnel, and adding the following in the stunnel.conf

In the section "; * Service defaults may also be specified in individual service sections *" just below ;options = -NO_SSLv3
I added sslVersion = TLSv1.2.

This was one of the first things I tried, but I guess I didn't give it the proper reboot. All is good now. I'm curious though if this is any less secure and if there is another route I should look into? Anyways, thaks for the help.

Ref links that helped and good reading:
