I am a complete Newbie, first IP cams. I'm trying to install a Vimtag V-361 and a Foscam FI8918 on my home LAN and plan to control them with Blue Iris. BI is on a Windows 7 Dell machine with 16 Gb of RAM and a few external disks. I use an ASUS wireless router and another ASUS upstairs configured as an access point. So far I've worked on the V-361 and gotten it working wirelessly but it is not working with BI (see thread under cameras dealing with apparent incompatibility). Hope I'm not using the wrong terminology -- if I am don't hesitate to comment. ipcamtalk seems to provide a wealth of information that is or particular value to us Newbies. Thanks to all those who provide such a wealth of useful info.
