Any 3MP Hikvision that accepts external mic?

By any, I mean $200 or cheaper. I have a several Hikvision cams (a mix of 2032-I, 2132-I, 2532F-IS), and while the picture quality is decent, I have yet to solve the sound requirement since the built in mic in 2532F-IS I purchased is pathetic. I don't mind splicing the wires but I assume that the camera needs to have a mic-in feature.

The mic on the 2532 is pretty good for normal use...if you want a camera that accepts an external mic look at the 2632IS 2732IS and the 2132IWS

You don't need an amplified mic with Hikvision, works just as well with a regular mic. From my testing, I found putting a mic on a Hikvision does not make it that much better than the built in mic's on some of their cameras, which is to say not that good, certainly not as good as other brands of cameras.

You are a lifesaver! I was looking for a Hikvision camera with alarm i/o to add a PIR sensor, but wasn't too happy I was looking at $200+ to get one. That's until I found your post. Thanks bud, you just saved me at least $100! :angel:

That's fine, from my side arrived with multi language.
You have two connectors for external I/O and Audio.
You need external mic as it's not embedded (normal as it's mini dome).
Quality is great and price too for what it does.
I have the wifi version and works like a rock.
