I did a firmware upgrade on my Swann NVR8-7400. It started the upgrade and screen went blank, never to come on again. Lights all on, but no picture on a HDMI monitor or VGA monitor. I talked to Swann, out of warrantee, they want $50 to check it out and they don't think they can do anything anyway. I tried to pull up the IP with the Swann software and the software can't even find the IP address of the NVR.
I seen in a couple threads that some Swann NVRs are relabeled HIKvision units. The HIKvision were able to reinstall the firmware. Any chance or reloading the firmware? Or if the IP is not seen, the unit is gone. or another way of looking at the IP?? I am not very computer savvy.
Any ideas??
