Are all ethernet pairs used with 2132F-IS (Alarm and Audio I/O)?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there are any unused pairs in the camera's ethernet cable, when the camera has Audio and Alarm I/O? I read that a standard IP camera doesn't need blue/blue & white, and brown/brown & white, but not sure of Hikvision will use both of these for the alarm and audio I/O?

I have a 2132F-IS 3mp IP camera with Audio and Alarm I/O. I bought this as I intended to wire my GJD PIR to the alarm pigtail to trigger recording onto my 7208HGHI-SH/A Turbo Hybrid DVR - which didn't come with Alarm I/O. The problem is, is that I only have one Cat5 cable routed to the camera location from the original installation, and not enough wiring for the PIR unless I route new wiring externally which I don't want to do.

Thanks

Alarm/Audio are transmitted digitally over IP; its a standard IP camera.

Video is working well now thanks. One further question: my cable is providing power via a PoE injector. As I have two pairs free on the Cat5, I intend to use one of the pair to power up a mic. Would the injector provided enough 12vDC power to a pair of wires for this purpose?
