Auto focus on PTZ camera

Hi I have a hikvision ptz camera and every time I zoom in and out, i seems like I need to manually focus it. By default is it already auto focus mode or do I have to set it? Is it by default auto focus frequency setting too low thing? because I have already tried resetting to factory defaults. thanks for the help guys

I believe it's set to semi-auto as default But,

I have no idea which PTZ your talking about. Also minimum focal distance could be incorrectly set and or too dark to focus
