Hello,

I am looking for opinions on these cameras and the software that comes with them. We are looking at replacing the cameras in the car park and I have seen these. We need to be able to read a license plate at around 100m. instead of putting several low end cameras in we would prefer to just put in one high end camera with a DVR for it.

Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Don't think anyone around here can afford stuff like that to test and give an opinion lol. For what it costs it better be worth it.

Put in more cameras and dedicate a few to plates. One camera can't cover a whole carpark and give you plates and faces day and night. Depends a lot on layout and the number of choke points, but cover all entrances/exits for plates and faces for ID and put in a bunch of overview cams to tell what was done. You don't need ID quality everywhere, just do your best to have at least one great face shot and a readable plate.
