I am new to the IP Cameras and what not. Self learning as I go. I had purchased a used Axis 214. It was working during my testing/learning. I haven't messed with it in a while. When trying to get it to connect directly to my laptop, it will not connect. The thing I now notice is that the 3 lights in the back under the network jack port do not light up green and I believe when it was functioning correctly they all would light up green. There is Status / blank / Power. The status is amber. The middle light is amber/red (blinking changing back and forth). The power is green.
This happened in the past a few times and i just kept powering it on and off and then it would finally connect; however now, even after trying to reset it with the control button, every time i power it on its amber / amber & red / green.
Has anyone had this problem before? Please advise on what things I can try to fix this?
