A valuable source of info here is in previous posts. So every newbie should learn how to use this forum's "search" feature. Your questions have been asked and answered before, hundreds of times.
The search will also uncover guidance offered to other newbies, (besides answers to other newbies).
Specifically, 1) the Wiki and 2) the getting started type doc full of topics. (I forget its proper name).
On this forum, no stupid questions. Except 1) questions asked w/o doing any research (ie: lazy questions) or 2) follow-up questions that fly in the face of previous answers you earlier received for that very same question.
