BI smartphone app loses connection

Hi everyone. I have installed BI on a Windows PC, Android phone and Iphone. Everything works great for about a day and the smartphones no longer connect. I can go through the Windows BI server portion and (re) assign port 81 and it works fine - for a day. The smartphones will connect if I am on the same WiFi as the PC with the Windows App. The Windows app runs flawlessly.

Even thought BI assigns a port to the server, I do not see it in my router and feel that may be the problem. Two questions besides the obvious (how can I get it to work), What ip address do I manually assign a port (81) in the router, and can I set the server up through DynDns??

Update...I manually assigned the BI server port (81) to my router IP address (in router) and the smartphones logged in right away. Guess I'll find out tomorrow. Seems logical, though.
