BI Zoom Support for Dahua IPC-HFW2320R-ZS-IRE6

I just bought one of these

This model has the motorized verifocal lens.

However, I am unable to get the optical zoom to function in BI.

I can only get the image to show by using main stream rtsp.
The profile for HFW2300r-z does not produce an image.

Blue iris is up to date with release 4.3.9.6 x64

Any suggestions other than email BI support and wait for a patch?

There is a specific option for the 2300 in the ptz dropdown. Try that.
Also, side note, you can change the camera colors so that each camera will display independently in the timeline. Camera properties>general>event color.

Unfortunately, that did not work.
I get the magnifying glass on the screen with the + or - and click, but no reaction.

We've got this huge warehouse and are putting in about 50 or so cameras.

We bought this verifocal cam that I just put up in the ceiling today to test it out and decide on placement if we go forward with more like it.
I chose this cam over the the cam that is supported in BI (HFW2300r-z) since it has the longer Ir distance - not that it really matters at the distance its currently mounted at.

try scanning the camera with find/inspect, then use the ONVIF option in the ptz dropdown.
If that doesnt work you will need to email support and provide access to the camera.

Unfortunately, that did not correct the issue either.
I have emailed support.

Next question is camera placement.
I'll post that in a different section.
