So my BI server and LAN is behind a NAT'd ISP router/modem system (4g WAN). Is there anyway to remotely connect to my BI server while being able to use the SmartThings plugin?

I can make it work when I am on the same LAN and I can view cameras if I VPN in. I cannot port forward anything that would be of any assistance.

I could be wrong but I've heard the majority of 4G/LTE ISP's provide no public IP, as they employ carrier-grade NAT.

Therefore if you don't VPN in then you'd likely have to use Hamachi or ngrok.
