Hi All!

Appreciate any advice in advance on this!

I'm setting up a system that needs to be able to run 12x IPC-HDW5830R-Z (8MP (96MP total) Turrets) smoothly, so I presume I'm going to need something like an i7-7700k, 16GB Ram, WD SSD 500GB + Some Purples. Anyone setup anything like this recently and have a completed build that I can copy and make? It would save some time. ^.^

Hopefully this is the right thread, if not I apologize in advance!

Thanks!

It sounds like you are on the right track, but be aware you won't be able to have high frame rates. About 7 FPS per camera would be pushing it I think.

If that is a problem, you should go with a proper hardware-based NVR, or different (much more expensive) software besides Blue Iris.

Split the load between two Blue Iris servers, or run a Dahua NVR, or run different (much more expensive) software that is not Blue Iris.
