Blue Iris no longer picking up stream but visible in browser

Have a PTZ camera been using for several months and been working fine in Blue Iris, all of a sudden BI no longer picking up stream but visible in the browser
this is what BI has for Main Stream /live/0/MAIN
and this is the browser info I have tried replacing the info with /main.html?first=0 but does not help

any suggestions

  • camera make & model
  • screenshot of BI's "video" >> "configure" page for that camera
  • BI version
  • When you say "..all of a sudden", has there been a recent update to BI?
  • Did you obtain the URL by entering IP and clicking on "Find/inspect" ?

Funny thing! I had exactly that happen with a camera yesterday (I'm running the latest version of BI). I even tried deleting the cam and adding it again. Nothing. Then I went with the old standby, a cold boot (turn off computer and then turn it on). Boom, the camera was working! Don't ask me... :p

it was working last week when I checked
obtain by entering IP and clicking on "Find/inspect"

I'd try the rollback feature to a older version before 5.3.1.0, perhaps 5.3.0.2 from 7/10/20 or earlier.
