Hello All

Would BI be able to work ok without massively straining the CPU on a computer with the following specs?

Operating system
Windows 10 Home (x86-64)
Processor -Intel Atom x5-Z8350
RAM - 4GB DDR3
Graphic type -Intel HD Graphics 400
4K Support - 3840 x 2160p @ 30Hz
USB -1x 2.0, 1x 3.0
Internal storage - 32GB / 64GB eMMC flash
Expansion options - Micro SDXC slot

I would use a 128 SD card to boost storage.

I would be using 1 camera at 20-30 fps and low resolution (480x640)

Thank you

No guarantees, but it might work. I don't know whether mjpeg or h.264 encoding would be faster. You will definitely need to use direct to disk recording. Running in service mode with the GUI closed would likely help. That system is not compatible with hardware accelerated h.264 decoding.

Thank you :)

The camera is not HD, it will be streaming at roughly 704 x 480 at 15-25 fps. The gui would be permanently minimised.

Thank you for your help and onfo. Very much appreciated
