I am running Blue Iris software and wondered if anybody was using the software on a touch screen computer. If so, can you use the features of the touch screen?

I am very fond of this software but am running a Mac with this being the only dedicated Windows program. Does anybody know of a Mac compatible equivalent.

@feaco Welcome to the forum. A touch screen should work fine. Sighthound runs on mac but is more expensive. You are better off buying a 300 dollar i5 haswell windows machine dedicated to BI.

Thanks fenderman. I am using a Samsung laptop with Windows10 dedicated to Blue Iris. For some reason, the touchpad is popping up and I thought I might replace the Samsung with a touchscreen laptop. I migrated over to Mac about 6 years ago and use it almost exclusively except for Blue Iris. It is nice to have a Windows machine for the occasional non Mac program. I have Parallels but do not like to run it in the background 24/7.
