Blue iris with Hikvision NVR

Hey Guys

What is best when linking BI to my hikvision NVR. Should I configure BI to pull the stream from the NVR? Or is it best to pull directly from each camera? I obviously want to use BI features such as triggers etc.

Hey Fenderman

If I point BI to the main RTSP stream, will I be able to use BI features with that stream?

update - I created all my cameras using the RTSP mainstream and they were working great, then suddenly - - No Signal I/O Error 0. Changing the receive bugger didn't make a difference (saw that on a forum somewhere) so im thinking maybe its because the NVR is already connected to the mainstream of the cameras?

Could that be it?

What I am trying to do, is still use the NVR for continuas recording but also use BI for triggers etc
