blueiris not opening on server 2008

Hello,

I recently installed blueiris on a computer I have running windows server 2008 64bit

install all went fine, but double clicking the blue iris admin or blue iris non-admin icons doesn't seem to do anything
nothing in event viewer

I've used BI successfully on other computers, though not on server OS

are there any log files to check?

• The 64-bit version of the software no longer appears to run on Vista 64 bit. This may be due to a number of OS updates and DLL incompatibilities which we are unable to resolve. The preferred solution would be upgrade to Windows 10 64-bit, but we have found that the software does continue to run on 32-versions of both Vista and XPSP3 (or you may select 32-bit when installing the software even on the 64-bit OS).

2008R2 is a big step up from 2008, I am not surprised to hear that blueiris 64 runs properly on 2008r2

Its based on w7 vs vista....
