You will have way more functionality with real cameras than Ring lol. And not be dependent on the cloud LOL.
Most of the turret style cameras that are Dahua OEM have a mic.
Two-way audio is limited to a few models, but it is more walkie-talkie like and not true two way talk. There will be a lag. Most that get two-way talk cameras end up never using that feature.
Or you can add external mic and speaker for better two-way talk.

Amazon store where you can see the cameras he sells, which are Dahua without the Dahua logo (so you save big bucks!).
But more importantly, is once you get away from consumer grade cameras, you need to get cameras with the correct focal length for the area you want to IDENTIFY. That is a difference between someone posting on Nextdoor a horrible image of someone out at the street from their Ring
doorbell versus a real camera made to cover that distance.
